Welcome Leopold Sporties the Official Leopold Sportsman's Club

Leopold Sportsman Club features a relaxing lounge bar and bistro area overlooking two well-maintained greens that are available for competition and social bowls. The modern spacious facility is well suited to cater for functions and special occasions, seating up to 140 guests. Leopold also offers visitors a great range of other facilities including squash courts, aerobics, and indoor bowls.

In 1971 a couple of locals, Len Lewis and Kevin Ash had an idea for a bowls club in Leopold. The idea took hold, a committee formed and money raised. A location was needed that would have enough space for two bowling greens and a clubhouse. Finally, this was located in Kensington Road, our current location and 5 acres purchased for $8500.
